Mold Tips

 

  • Keep areas under sinks free of paper products.  Place cleaning products in plastic tubs and insert aerated rubber mats under sinks.
  • Dry-clean mold stained fabrics.
  • To prevent mildew on clothing and to wash mold stained bedding use Borax detergent which has a natural fungicide known as borate salt.
  • For washing machines that smell moldy run an empty load with diluted bleach.
